The UNITEDSTRONG KIDS FIT CAMP is a half-day event designed to teach children all of the fundamentals of fitness and nutrition in a safe, fun environment. Through interactive lessons broken into short segments, children will learn the basics of bodyweight movements, running form, mobility and muscle care, and equipment use of a medicine ball and jump rope. Kids will also learn the functions and healthy use of carbs, fats, and proteins while gaining a better understanding of proper hydration and sleep.

At the end of each 15 min lesson, we will have a brief question and answer time followed by sample workouts for each topic covered. Kids will receive a graphic-filled booklet with simple reminders on the lessons learned to take home with them. Kids will also receive a t-shirt, 5-12lb medicine ball, jumprope, healthy treat bag, and prizes from our sponsors.

The UNITEDSTRONG KIDS OBSTACLE CHALLENGE is a 10 event competition where kids will be tested on 10 fundamental movements of healthy athleticism and fitness, including running, jumping, throwing, pushing, pulling, lifting, climbing, crawling, balancing, and agility. Through safe, challenging obstacles created by the UNITEDSTRONG team, kids will tackle each obstacle for 1 minute, trying to get as many points as possible. During the 1 minute transition between obstacles, kids will get to see their point-totals grow on their personal, graphic-filled score card.
